What to expect on your
child's first visit.
We know walking into a new dental office can feel like a lot — for kids and grown-ups alike. That's why we've laid out everything, step by step, so you know exactly what to expect before you ever open our door.
A little prep goes a long way.
Here's what to gather and what to tell your kiddo before the big day.
If your child is nervous, the most helpful thing you can do is keep the conversation light and positive. Kids take cues from parents more than you'd think - if you're relaxed about it, they're more likely to be too.
Complete new patient forms.
We'll email them after you book. Save time at check-in by filling them out ahead of time.
Things to bring:
#1: Insurance card
#2: A comfort item - a stuffed animal or favorite toy is always welcome in the chair.

Arrive a few minutes early
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before your appointment, especially for a first visit. It gives your child time to take in the space at their own pace before we get started.
Your visit, step by step
Here’s exactly what happens.
Every visit follows a rhythm designed to help kids feel comfortable and in control. Nothing happens without an explanation first - we introduce every tool before it touches a tooth.
A warm welcome
Our front desk tribe greets you by name, gets your paperwork sorted, and introduces your family to our space. Then you'll meet your child's dentist! They take it slow, make introductions fun, and build trust before any examining begins.
Parent review & personalized plan
We will then sit down with you to share our findings, answer every question, and create a customized care plan for your child. No jargon, no pressure.
Prize pick & see you next time
Every visit ends with a celebration! After the visit, your child picks their prize before you leave, and we schedule the next appointment at checkout so you're never scrambling to find a time later.
An office kids actually
want to visit.
Both our Boca Raton and Coral Springs offices were designed to feel nothing like a typical dental office — and that's entirely the point. Each one has its own personality, but both share the same idea: kids should walk in and immediately feel like this place belongs to them.
Boca Raton has a bold street art energy — a floor-to-ceiling "Little Kids Big Goals" graffiti mural anchors the reception area, living moss walls line the hallways, and a prize wall lets kids pick their reward after every visit. The arcade corner features Cruisin' World, Donkey Kong, Ms. Pac-Man, and Frogger. Yes, really.
Coral Springs brings the Florida coast inside — a hand-painted "Make Waves" flamingo mural, sunset palm tree hallways, colorful treatment rooms, and its own arcade setup. Bright, warm, and impossible to feel anxious in.

Parent-inclusive care
You stay with your child for as long as it helps
Dental anxiety is
incredibly common.
If your child is nervous, or has had a difficult experience at the dentist before - please tell us. You won't be the first parent to say it, and it genuinely helps us prepare for your child’s visit.
Our entire team is trained in pediatric behavior management. We know how to read kids, adapt our pace, and create an environment that helps to make children feel safe and calm.
Tell-Show-Do
We introduce every tool before it's used. Kids who understand what's happening feel in control — and kids who feel in control aren't afraid.
Nitrous Oxide & Sedation Options
For children with significant anxiety or complex needs, nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral sedation and general anesthesia are available. We'll discuss what makes sense for your child.
Pre-Visit Office Tours
We're happy to arrange a casual tour before your child's first appointment - no chair, no tools, just a chance to get familiar with the space.
Common Questions About First Visits
Have a question we didn't answer? Our team is happy to talk through anything before your first visit.
